After introductions and expressions of welcome and thanks
for hosting to the adidas folks at our meeting, we
went through the agenda.
We agreed that npGreenway will have a stop in the Bike to
the Future ride, which is a benefit for the Coalition for a Livable Future on September 16th.
Tom Knipe, the event organizer expects to have 500
riders participate. Having postcards that riders can fill out addressed
to Metro and the City was suggested. Jason, Scott will work on this.
Adam reported on his meeting with the CLF, Coalition for a
Livable Future, and we decided to join as npGREENWAY, at no cost, for further exposure and
support. Adam will pursue our membership.
Michelle will work on a letter of support from adidas and offered to get more of the vision maps printed.
100 were requested. She will wait till she get receives a revised version from
Scott.
Steve offered to do a video of the trail alignment. We have
a number of still photos that can be used.
Brian, Lenny and Jason discussed a walk to the river from adidas and a bike ride for adidas
employees to expand the interest at the adidas
campus.
All present were urged to go to the June 21st
Metro Bond Measure open house and/or go on-line to the Metro website and
comment in support of land and trail easement acquisitions for the North
Portland Willamette
Greenway Trail.

ps Tom Knipe thought our meeting was at 7:00 pm,
and npGreenway did get the Metro Enhancement 2007 grant award of
$2,000 thanks to our grant writing team.
